B2IWAB not B2B nor B2C
This rather unique position is very powerful.
Think about it from a normal sales perspective. Marketing's purpose is to generate leads, then someone has to go out and talk to these leads to see if they are truly prospects. Finally the prospects must be turned into customers.
In most business, even in as a solopreneur, these functions have to be performed.
What if you, instead, sold a service with an associated product. And that service was one with a built in repeat requirement. Now we're talking about some real earning potential.
The primary question that is most often forgotten is, who is my customer? In my world my customer is a stylist. Stylists almost always work in a salon (there are a few exceptions) and because they are in teh salon they are easy to find. I call on Salons every day.
Therefore my client is an individual who works within a business, is easy to reach, understands that they need the service I provide, and are literally waiting for me to come in.
It's a great business.

What's the difference between Working FROM Home and Working AT Home
So, what is the difference between the words FROM and AT in relation to work from home businesses.
Working at home means just that. There are many different opportunities out there to do this but the majority of these are all internet dependent. Many, I've seen statistics that are as high as 97.2%, of these offereings are scams. So before you invest a significant amount of your hard earned cash in anything remember the old phrase Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware.
Work from home should be translated as your business will requre you to go out to your customers but you will not need to lease an offsite office or storefront.
Keep in mind, when launching a new business it is always better to keep your intial expenses as low as possible. My favorite definition of "Sweat Equity" has nothing to do with sweating while performing the job your business is all about. No, "Sweat Equity" has everything to do with waking up in a cold sweat wondering how you will meet payroll and pay the rent next week.
The ideal work from home business should give you:

The ideal work from home business should give you:
- A business structure that is a service business. A service that is needed on a repeat basis so once you've successfully gotten a customer they will need to return and get the service again.
- An complementary product line that can be sold while you provide the service.
- A customer base that is easy to reach, always has money, works in a recession proof industry and and not only needs but wants your service.
- A service business that services individuals within another business. Most service businesses sell B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to consumer.) Imagine your customer base are individuals who are literally captive within a business but need your service delivered right there.

The Advantages of a Real Home Based Business
When starting a new business, it is always smart to think small. As a matter of fact think self-employed!
First of all, let's talk about what I mean by the term "real" home based business.
Most people interpret the term "real home based business opportunity" as being an opportunity that actually exists. That is, a person can actually take advantage of that opportunity and profit from it.
Others might compare this to an online business opportunity. Many web-companies today make a profit by trading unreal expectations. That is to say, they trade information, training programs, coaching programs or the rights to use their package for the cash in your pocket. They profit from moving intangible things around.
Some may interpret "real home based business opportunity" as being a business opportunity that he or she can actually handle in the physical sense.Other people may consider the word "real" as being opposed to "planned". People know that a business cannot exist if it is only in paper. In order for a business to be called a business, the paper based plan has to be implemented.
For the sake of this discussion and simplicity, let us take the first definition: the actual existence of the opportunity defines its reality. Now what are the advantages of having a real home based business opportunity?
First of all, you should remember that all business runs on risk vs. return trade offs. A person should not take on additional risks without the prospect of additional returns. This explains the reason why it is always smart to think small in starting your own business.
An entrepreneur can find real home based business opportunities they should grab. This is because they offer people a chance to invest wisely. They offer very low risk and high potential of returns. A real home based business opportunity often takes a small investment in order to obtain it.
Real home based business opportunities do not require much front end effort from the entrepreneur. For instance, real home based business opportunities do not really require an entrepreneur to go look for a place of business. Since the business is home based, the entrepreneur gets to forgo the usual hassle of leasing or renting an operations center. This means that a person can concentrate on actually making the business grow instead of concentrating on establishing the business.
Another advantage of a real home based business opportunity is the fact that these business opportunities can actually make a person independent. This type of self employed business can help a person be his own boss.
A real self employment business opportunity can mean no more time cards and no more supervisors for a driven ambitious person. This independence can help a person grow personally. Few people can actually say that they own their own time. Most people have to answer to another in order to continue making money.
Think of all those who went to college to become professionals. Despite the salary that they are making, they all have to answer to someone. But even in the corporate world you find, at the very top of the corporate food chain, an entrepreneur.
A real home based self employment opportunity can be the first step towards a very bright future. As you can see, there are a lot of advantages to grasping a real home based business opportunity. All you need to do is keep an open eye and an alert mind and you can achieve success.
Seven Key Attributes for a Self Employment Opportuinity
A viable and real self employment opportunity should allow you at least to do the following:
* Allow you to work from home. Not necessarily in your home but from home so you dont need to invest in real estate.
* Be a service business whose service is consumable. That is it must be delivered on a regularly scheduled basis.
* Provide a service that is both needed and wanted by the prospect audience.
* Have potential clients who are captive and easy to reach.
* Have a common sense and proven business model.
* Have a product you can offer that is complimentary to the service youre delivering.
* Provide easy financing for your clients to make purchasing the product easy.
